Regional Day Speakers April 2014

We had 3 'speakers' at the Regional Day at Copdock in April 2014.

  • City & Guilds students from Creative Stitch Suffolk showed off and talked about their work.
  • Local author Liz Trenow talked about how her family connection to the silk industry and her love of quilting inspired the writing of her novels with the added bonus of seeing the quilt described in 'The Forgotten Seamstress' made real by quilter Judy Baker Rogers.
  • The afternoon talk was by Christine Porter who showed off her beautiul quilts inspired by tiles.
